What do you do (in 5 words or fewer)?
Listen, think, solve and build.
-
What’s your favorite way to spend a rainy afternoon?
Probably watching Studio Ghibli films and eating ramen.
-
What's your dream project?
Being part of a creative team responsible for reviving an old theater or designing an amusement park ride that teaches children the ancient stories of constellations.
-
What's the hardest thing you've ever had to say to a client?
The computer isn't working correctly because of the layer of cheese dust inside your keyboard.
-
What's the one thing in your life that's really important to you but you never quite get to?
Vacation and overall self-improvement – the non-job-related things. I'm getting better at those lately.
-
What is your dream travel destination?
Rome ca. 490 BC but only for a light supper and a few hours observing chariot races.
-
Is there a book from your childhood that helped make you who you are today?
Roald Dahl's "The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar and Six More". Dahl opened me up emotionally, showing me both beauty and horror in "The Swan" and exposed me to curious, dangerous, and vibrant characters in the other stories, especially "The Hitch-Hiker". I don't recommend exposure to Dahl for all children, just the ones you want to end up slightly unusual.

What’s your favorite board game, and why?
Scrabble, because it gracefully degrades to Bananagrams.
The next great story is yours™
