• What do you do (in 5 words or fewer)?

  Innovate, create, think, inspire, and lots of Photoshop play.

• What's your dream project?

  Give me nature, a camera, and a curated soundtrack. I'm all set.

• What's the best advice you ever got?

  Life is not a dress rehearsal. Although I think "ain't" was used. Southern roots. 

• Do you believe that the universe has a purpose?

  I believe we're not meant to know, but to experience. As fully as possible.

• Do you check your email while driving?

  While also adjusting GPS route, flipping music tracks, sipping coffee, and chatting with passenger (multitasking required).

• Tell me about the happiest you've ever been.

  Summer solstice. Body paint. Bike parade. Celebrating the cusp of a new season, a new beginning. 

• What still gives you hope?

  Witnessing disparate facets of society agree on what's best for positive change in the world.

• What’s your favorite way to spend a rainy afternoon?

  In said rain. With brightly colored rainboots.

  A seasoned, multidisciplinary creative, Kathi combines her fine arts sensibility and mad design skills with a drive to make positive change happen. Whether she's specifying timeless letterpress techniques on specialty papers or creating sophisticated user experiences across platforms, her range of skills and knowledge to make magic for clients is broad and deep. Her love of classic reproduction methods and modern tools were honed at the Savannah College of Art and Design, where she also focused on photography. She has continued to develop her talent for seeing and capturing amazing moments, in still and motion graphics, through collaborations with Free Range clients. Kathi's partnership with the Greater Yellowstone Coalition yielded an emotional, moving ode to the great park; Kathi also serves as lead creative for the Great Place to Work® Institute, and she photographed their inaugural Best Global Multinational Companies gala at the New York Stock Exchange. Her content- and story-forward approach consistently yields breakthrough experiences for users and readers, across media and devices.

  With southern roots, Kathi landed in D.C., where she first joined Free Range, before migrating to the farthest possible point from her Florida upbringing for a stint in Seattle. Happily re-settled (back) on the other coast, she now calls Boston home, though the world is her oyster. Having trekked for six weeks through southeastern Asia, and more recently explored old world Europe, her Flickr stream explodes with culture, beauty and compassion.
