350 parts per million is the safe level of carbon in the atmosphere, period. And we’re way over that limit. The only way to solve the climate crisis is to get back to those levels — and then do better.

Transformed from science into action:

To spark a climate protest that would cover more of the globe than any other in history, 350.org needed to show what it means to stand up for the goal of “350.” They needed to inspire people to get off their butts and protest. And they needed to get the word out to speakers of every language on Earth — which meant not using a single word. Challenge accepted. We created this 90-second video that explained the science and helped users visualize their actions. And it worked. The video attracted 400,000 viewers from all corners of the globe, helped bring tens of thousands to the rallies and earned a Webby nomination.
