When you get down to it, Intercross is a blog — a website for reporting on centers of conflict and how humanitarian laws are being interpreted, upheld and sometimes ignored. But more importantly, it’s a lifeline. In many of these conflict zones the Red Cross is the only force on the ground. Their strong, established relationships provide unparalleled access to the untold stories of a conflict, and ultimately the ability to speak on behalf of vulnerable children, women and men. Representing these voices effectively online means the difference between suffering and action. Talk about stories that matter. We worked with the ICRC to design a blog that fit their iconic brand while blazing its own trail, hitting the just-right balance of urgent and neutral that defines the Red Cross.
